What you can expect

Everyone’s financial planning journey is as unique as their circumstance. While we can’t say for sure what yours will look like, here’s an insight into what you can usually expect from our process of working together.

Stage

Initial discussion

We start with a discovery meeting, which is all about getting to know you. We’ll understand more about your current financial situation and your goals for the future and assess how we’ll be able to help you achieve them. Feel free to bring your partner or another family member – we encourage your loved ones to get involved from the get-go. This meeting is held at our expense and can take place either face to face or via video call.

Stage

Research and analysis

If we agree to work together, we’ll go away and do our research. We’ll assess your current financial situation and any arrangements you already have in place and explore how they match up with your objectives. This is where cashflow modelling comes into play; we’ll use sophisticated technology to accurately forecast your lifetime cash flow and examine the impact of various scenarios. We then build our recommendations based on our findings.

Stage

Presenting the plan

We’ll meet again to present your bespoke financial plan, filled with our recommendations based on our in-depth research. This is the chance to talk through it in detail and get your thoughts. Your feedback is incredibly valuable, and we’ll never implement anything you’re not 100% sold on.

Implementation

Once you’re happy with our recommendations, we’ll get them put in place, ensuring any investments made are in line with your attitude towards risk and reward. We’ll also handle all of the admin on your behalf, so you won’t have to worry about piles of paperwork.

Ongoing review services

It’s important that we review your financial plan and investments on a regular basis to make sure they still align with your situation and your goals. We’ll usually meet a minimum of once a year to review your situation and make any changes we need to. It’s also a nice chance for us to simply catch up!

Our fee philosophy

We think it’s really important for you to understand the way we work and the value we can add before you commit to any costs. That’s why we’ll always hold an initial consultation free of charge and ensure that all costs are discussed with you in full before you sign up for anything.
